Biography
Miss Biscuit (Sarah Elizabeth Edwards) has developed a distinctive vocal style over the years, with a gospel foundation, she gradually found her own smoky, silky, vocal sound. Sounding effortlessly sexy is what she does best, captivating even the most aloof of audiences. Working with acclaimed producer ‘Masdafarai’, Sarah has a plethora of tracks spilling out of the bag. She's an accomplished pianist, flautist, and composer; be you man or woman, gay or straight, you can't help but be aroused by her vocal prowess.
The band initially met as a bunch of sound-waves on ‘Masdafarai’s computer. Angry Sheep is essentially live drums & bass accompanying Sarah’s vocals & piano/keyboard parts with the inclusion of guest performers. The set consists of gutsy groovy rock and soulful ballads. Colin Starr (Bass), Steff Hellbringer (drums) & Lester Brown (Trumpet) perform and record with numerous projects in London, the most prolific being jazzy moody groove based live hip hop collective Lazy Habits www.lazyhabits.co.uk.
The Angry Sheep sound is distinguished and emotive: foot-tapping rhythms, heart-fuelled lyrics, all wrapped up in a jazz induced bubble.
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa….!
